WotLK Shadowmourne and dk

I have a bis uh dk with bryntroll as weapon.

Is it worth it to get shadowmourne for pvp ? will it be a big advantage for bg and 2v2 ?

I have coins for SM but I just don't know if it's worth it ...

Can you explain me why yes or no I should get SM ?

Shadowmourne is always worth it, the only explanation you will need are the incredibly broken stats that the weapon has. I wouldn't spend 150 coins for it now that you can farm it, althought it is the best you can get it won't make you ramp up to 3k rating on 2s by itself.
