Technical Game Resetting to Default Video Settings

Game Resetting to Default Video Settings every time I relaunch the game/open it once more.

Anyway to make the changes I made permanent? It annoys me to set everything again and again everytime I open the game

right click wow folder, go to properties, uncheck read only, click apply.

I tried doing that like 20 minutes ago and my interface settings (while playing esc+interface) turned into something way bigger than my laptop's screen, so i dont know if the problem is 100% fixed.

Any advide for that? :)

Under interface there's a UI scale, make it smaller.
