that depends on what kind of realm you're looking for. In short:

Lordaeron has ×1 rates meaning you level as fast as you would on Blizzard. Raid booses have increased damage and health pools. You might never clear heroic content.

Icecrown has ×7 xp rate and ×3 other rates. You level very quickly. Raid bosses are normal and everyone is just rushing to raiding. They are significantly easier than the ones on Lordaeron.

Blackrock is full PvP. You get free PvP gear and all you can do on the realm is PvP.

Outland and Frostwolf have very low pop so I don't suggest going there unless you really love those 2 expansions-
