Question about Fa-la-la-la-Ogri'la(mount)

So, Winter Veil is upon us and we're after the meta-achiv. For the last three days I've been trying to get the Fa-la.... achivement, but my mount, the blue wind rider, does not transform inta a flying reindeer, just a regular terrain one. Is this because I don't have the Artisan flying skill?

I'm having the same problem. Using a Golden Gryphon w/o epic flying.
