Here I doubt, but if your friend could go to My Account -> View Full History -> Gifting, take a screenshot of that page, mail that to [email protected] and explain.. it would be a good first step.

I'd still try, because I don't believe Warmane would want gifts to disappear or to have a problem in their gifting system support it or not.
