Need some help in choosing

Hi guys!!

I have decided to try this server out. I'll prolly go for a hunter but not sure if I wanna make it horde or ally. Whats the situation regarding both PvP and PvE in the factions?

And since its gonna be my first I need some golds to maintain and progress. Is mining/skinning/herb worth getting or are there too many that farms them later on? If so, what should I choose?

Ppl usually answer on this thread with something like "Play what your hearth wants" or something like that. Put to cut the crap if you want to PVP > Go ally, if you want PVE> Go horde.
I guess you already played WOTLK so you can figure yourself why.
Gathering profs are always useful when starting. (for example you can always sell low level herbs that alchemist uses for leveling a prof)
