WotLK Enhancement Shaman PvP Spec : Lava Lash = YES or NO ?

Hi everyone, I would like to ask all the Enha Sham PvPers what are their thoughts about Lava Lash spec. Looking at the arena ladder, I saw 2 enha in top 10 of the 2s bracket, and another one top 10 for what concerns the Solo Q.
We all know that Lava Lash is not really that big of a deal in terms of pure damage, but from what I saw, It seems to help the shaman with a faster application of the Frostbrand's imbue effect, same thing goes for the Maelstrom Weapon proc/stack.
In conclusion the two top 10 enha I saw, are both using the Lava Lash spec, while other 3 shamans which are in the top 50 are NOT using this talent, I've been told by them that It's a waste, It's not necessary and bla bla bla... but I'd still give It a try considering the quicker procs of Maelstrom Weapon and one more chance to apply Frostbrand since It's a direct off hand strike. Most of the time that 1 single point goes into Reverberation, which is surely important but in my opinion 3/5 is enough, I mean -0.2 sec (4/5) wouldn't change the destiny of an arena/duel. Also Lava Lash crit can still be considered a decent (nothing special), but still none the less a decent small amount of damage.

In general I rarely saw Elemtal Fury, in PvP due to the resilience of Season 8 BiS Gear We won't rely on crit that much. Surely a must go talent for Pve tho. While I also saw several shamans without Anticipation nor Titanium Weapon Chain enchant on weapon... maybe They're not afraid of being disarmed, or maybe They're just insane, anyway thanks for your time.

I guess there is no clear answer because as you said, the difference between lava lash or one more point in reverberation is tiny.
If you decide to use lava lash then you should treat it as a filler ability. You shouldn't use it over purge, water/lightning shield, totem or any other ability. When you treat lava lash as lowest priority ability and you still find enough free GCDs to use it frequently in arena then I guess it's worth it.

lava lash is mainly used in pvp if you need a quick way to generate maelstorm stacks and not really for its damage. its almost always better to purge

LL is used for applying frostbrand and getting maelstrom stacks, it's stupid not to take it for 1 talent point lol..
Only reason some people dont take it is because they're the type of enhance shaman who pops all cds the moment gates open and proceed to only purge.
