1. Horrendous Lag

    Hey guys,

    From Australia (Tasmania)

    ISP is Optus, Usually perfectly playable, however tonight seems to be ~5000 -> 20,000 MS and constantly getting dropped.

    Receiving is fine, sending is the problem (I'm seeing players moving etc... but unable to communicate back out)

    Is it just me - Is it a warmane server thing with routing from Australia?

    Any other aussies hit me up and let me know?

    I'm from Sydney. I'm also facing same issue since last week. I usually play at work and we got Optus as well.
    I have done couple of tracert tests. Here is my result.

    First I though my firewall is blocking connections, so I completely turned off my firewall.However, I still get the same results.

    I'm from Sydney as well.
    I am playing stable at 300 MS.
    I think it's got to do something with your ISP (Optus).
    Optus is known for having such issues as I myself changed from Optus to Telstra this year. Trust me never felt so better.
    Contact Optus but I'm sure they'll be of no help explaining issues within their international routing/cable connection with no mitigation in place like always.
    Best suggestion, move to Telstra.

    I'm having the same issues man! so annoying. I've tried contacting Optus but no luck as of yet.
    It's happening on other Private servers too unfortunately. Weird that it's only just started recently and
    wasn't having any effect a few weeks ago.
    Let me know if you have any updates.

  5. Same thing, but from Singapore. 5k to 20k+ ping. Started this week only. A few other friends from the region (SG/MY/OCE) are also experiencing the same thing.

    Please get the tech team to look into this. Literally unplayable in this state.

    Terrible connnections, I did presume initially that it was a routing problem, not a locale problem.

    @Ephemere, I wonder what your ISP is, and perhaps Optus in AUS route through the ISP you (and your other regional friends) may use?
