I always see a million characters put up for trade but how often does anyone buy one?

I've had my twink rogue bistus on trade for over 2 weeks and my 80 warlock with 3k spell power for like 80 coins and nothing.
Should I just say forget it and move on or do people really buy characters?

Most the time characters that are bought are either naked 80s with professions and riding learned, or characters with achvs, mounts and where the buyers picks what items (normally few bis ones) to leave equipped ( involves a lot of global spamming)

I haven't sold a single character on Icecrown.
I've sold over a dozen across accounts on Lordaeron.

My best play is level 10 with full looms for 45 coins - Chest/Shoulders/Weapon/x2 Trinkets. +100ish gold and professons.

It is a competitive space. Lots for sale. When I buy toons, and I do quite often, I basically always choose the best I can find. Sometimes 1 item can make a difference

The locked on prices from Warmane sucks.. It doesn't promote a competitive market..
Also,, I f'n hate the 72 hour lock on coins.. Missed out on two characters I wanted to buy already..
