Drop Rates

I was wondering what the drop rates of this server are?

I have tried googling and searching the forums but cannot find an exact answer.

Isn't it higher? Cause if you do quests where you need to loot quest items off bodies you will get them every time. Where in retail you had to kill quite a lot more to get all quest items.

I think for quest specific drops, some quests have been modified to prevent a gridlock of players from fighting over the same mob. The population is very high, and the last thing we need is reports by wailing children who can't move on from the area.

I didn't realize there was a quest that dropped them. They used to drop from mobs in retail, that's how I always farmed them. How are other people finding them?
