Also, with this fresh breath into the PvE, can we maybe expect return of some actual PvE competition like you used to do with Winds of Northrend, etc? Its honestly disappointing looking at the current Ladder (which is the only real competition currently) and its completly flooded with bugged timers.

Because when it launches players from Icecrown will go to Frostmourne, lowering the player load there. Sure, they get sent to Icecrown after a year, but we'll deal with it then.

How will it be with the Daily Dungeon Quests? Will the content before ICC be without RDF and people will need to manually make groups or will RDF be enabled straight away?

Right, but this gives an immediate solution to the problem, giving the team more time to find a better solution. I think the hope is people who are playing on the seasonal realm understand that it is seasonal and will want to participate for more than one season. You'll have groups of people who;
1) Play for one season to get the F R E S H feeling then quit altogether.
2) Play season after season because they're F R E S H masochists.
3) Play for the first season then continue on Icecrown.
Only the third group affects Icecrown's long term population growth. Hell, if there are people who are in groups 1 or 2 that already play on Icecrown, that decreases the population there. I also think the idea is that the population is massive at the moment due to Covid-19, but once things start getting back to normal population will start to decline and it will work itself out.

It would be cool if you could switch XP rates from x7 to x1 on your character and/or account like on some other private servers. Or better yet, imagine if there were two servers lmao Frostmourne and a [insert new server name here] with x1 rates for the Lordaeron crowd.
