Private Thorsen in Stranglethorn Vale-BUG

Quick question, is private Thorsen in STV bugged.I have a quest where I have to deliver supplies to him, I found him south of the camp, next to the graveyard, but I can't interact with him.Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Yes, it seems so, same thing on Icecrown realm too
It's like this for 5-6 months already

If you follow where Private Thorsen goes patrolling and help him kill the mobs that pop up and try to kill him you can return the quest and get the another quest from him. (Around coordinates 38,09)
