Rare Hunter Pets/Exotic beasts

Hey there!

I am recently new to this server and community, and I just hit level 80 with a hunter.
Back when I played retail WoW I used to play as a Hunter as well and back then I had a big collection of rare/spectral pets.

My question is if that is implemented in this server?
For example; Arcturis is a spectral/spirit bear that spawns in Grizzly Bear every 12-24h, and I have that one in retail WoW.
However on this server I have been having an eye on it's spawn location for 2 days now and haven't spotted him yet.
So I just wanted to ask if I'm wasting my time standing on this spawn location for a whole day or not?

Before anyone else says it, I know that there is a huge chance I have just missed Arcturis and someone else have tamed or killed it.
That is not the point though, I just want to know if I am wasting my time.

They do spawn, its just that theres so many players leveling atm that they prolly get insta killed or tamed. GL on your quest to catch them all!
