    Conflagrate trigger delay .

Does anyone experience a delay between immolate and the posibility to cast conflagrate imediately ? I`m not talking about gcd , purely about the delay from immolate cast to appear on target and able to trigger conflagrate . It-s like a second between immolate and being able to conflagrate .

It was posted a while ago and it's the intended way. Someone linked to retail battleground videos of destro warlocks applying corruption after immolate to reduce the downtime.
It's very very annoying and it's common to see priests and paladins dispell Immolates before you do conflagrate, but that's just the way it is now. Let's hope it gets bugged up again soon.

I played retail untill Bfa and its not supposed to work this way . Even on retail it`s not that delay between casting confla after immo . Even now , on BfA , this delay doesn`t exist .

    Warmane bugged it on purpose.

I've played lock since retail 2005 and this delay never existed on retail.

I have many videos from wotlk retail to prove conflag never had a delay.

Warmane has gotten to a point where they make custom changes. I have tried to have this fixed but they just ignore me.

It's very sad actually. Warmane has made it own version of wotlk, with all these custom changes.

Btw here is a Retail video: https://youtu.be/J5_UHUD9pPA
at 1:50.849 Immolate debuff appears on the target
at 1:51.250 Conflagrate icon is activated (0,4 sec delay)

I have tested on blackrock (warmane realm) and delay is between 0,35 - 0,45.

At 6-7 seconds you can see no delay on conflag. Even without Backdraft proc.

The only delay on conflag is waiting for the GCD from immolate to complete.

Also at many other points in my video you can see no delay on conflag.

    Another video for further proof.

I myself recorded all of these videos during retail 3.3.5

The fact of the matter is, we can debate whether or not conflag had this delay. Therefore there is not enough conclusive evidence to allow warmane to say conflag had a delay.

The GCD immediately before Conflag is not from Immolate, it's from Curse of Elements.

The video-maker, someone that's probably not you, deliberately queued CoE at the end of Immolate, because they knew they wouldn't be able to Conflag instantly afterwards anyway. This is

  10. I've read somewhere, that immolate has a hidden/invisble travelling time, which is a cause for a delay in a conflag's availablity. Post was made by a Blizz stuff member, on topic of RoF/hellfire not benefitting from backdraft (thats a bug/feature on warmane) due to them being channels, instead of actual spell casts.

  11. Even in retail its the intended way. The game must detect and show Immolate on the target so you can cast Conflagrate. The idea of the delay is to give a chance the other player/s to actually defend themselves from an instant cast spell that deals so much dmg. Buffed conflagrade can crit for a lot of dmg. And as adviced up just cast some curse on the target right after Immolate, that will smooth the transition to Conflagrade.
