[H] <monkeys> realm first guild looking progression-oriented players

Brief introduction

We are a competitive, progression guild aiming for realm first achievements and are currently opening recruitment to solidify our roster for upcoming Ulduar release. Although the guild is rather new (created only a day before the achievements you see above), most of our players have vast experience with progression, including realm first kills, from Lordaeron as well as other private servers.

As such, what we strive to offer as a guild is an environment where you will be raiding with players who are competent enough to be competitive. Therefore, what we are looking for are players with fitting mindset and equal competence.


Requirements, expectations and some basic info

- with raid times and days being a deciding factor in most people's guild choices, I'll start off by saying that we're currently raiding two times a week, once each reset, with plans to start doing 2nd/alt run in the near future. During progression we will be raiding every single day.
- raids start at 17:00 Server Time, with invites going out 15-20 minutes earlier. By "start at" I mean we start pulling at 17:00, so you're expected to be online beforehand (with all your raiding necessities ready to go) and heading towards the instance right after receiving an invite.
- you're expected to bring your own flasks, pots, resistance gear etc. as well as optimize your character on your own in whatever way possible
- being on voice (discord) during raids is a must with no exceptions (preferably with a mic that you're willing to use)
- from our applicants, we expect extensive knowledge of their own class and spec and at the very least basic knowledge of other classes too
- have a properly functioning UI that allows you to utilize your class to its full potential. I'm not gonna tell you what addons to use, but if you don't know what raid frames are just don't bother applying.
- the minimum requirement for your application to be even considered is for your character to have at least full pre-raid BiS gear, including crafted gear where applicable. We don't want to open your armory link and see a mess, so sort out your spec and glyphs, enchant and gem your gear before applying.
- while we understand that you may not have had a chance to complete all the raiding content without a raiding guild, there's no reason as to why you should not have at least attempted to run some pugs in order to improve your gear. In case you just had bad rng with rolls/drops, we can still confirm whether you tried by looking at your achievements. Any extra effort (hint: dmf) you've put into your character goes to show what kind of a player you are.
- having a raid ready alt that meets the above mentioned criteria is a big plus
- don't act like a special snowflake. While all the stuff above makes it sound super serious, it's really not that. Know how to take a joke, flaming and banter in general. Your mistakes will be pointed out, so be ready to accept criticism.
