RDF HC requirements?

I was able to queue up on RDF HC at around 190/191ilvl on my previous 2 characters, but on my most recent one which is at 192 ilvl im suddenly not able to anymore and I dont know why :(

I believe there is a minimum iLvl requirement in every slot as well as the average minimum. With your totem being 150, maybe grab the one from 15 badges? Its rough that shaman/pallies/DK have to somehow get a decent relic before queueing for randoms

Personally I'm glad you can't queue. Filthy hodge-podge of gear in order to get to HRDF requirements, a damn shame. At least you're a dirty, peasant dps where you'll only slightly piss off the party - it's worse when a tank or healer does it.

In regards to your problem, try replacing the totem with the 15 EoH one. Your average ilvl is 191.7, not sure if it rounds up - but this should still be okay to queue. Totem is the only thing I can think of.

You're at 184.8 average ilvl. Not sure what your GS is, but run HoL, CoS, UP (maybe Occulus? I don't remember) with a tabard on to get rep with factions and buy their ilvl 200 gear, buy more BoE ilvl 200 gear, try to get into walk in heroic dungeons.

it's based on average ilvl, not gearscore, you are too low overall

As above posts said, the gear requirement is based on your AVERAGE EQUIPPED item level, not your gearscore or other stats.

More specifically, it seems to be somewhere around 189.5 average item level, with 189 being too low, and 190 allowing you to queue. Note that this takes into account ALL slots including your relic/totem slot, and that heirloom items count as item level 1, despite giving stats equivalent to item level 187s at level 80.

You can check your exact item level by using the following macro:

edit: there's a space that shows up in the word "player" in the macro above that isn't meant to be there, and unicode won't let me edit it out for some reason no matter what codeblock/quote/no formatting i try.

just take out the space from the section: "target"or"player"
