How do I get points for log in when I am new?

Hey there and welcome!

First of all, you need atleast 1000 achievement points (if I'm not mistaken) to be able to collect points in your account panel. Once you've achieved that, you can collect points every day by clicking on 'Collect Points' which is shown right next to the amount of points available under 'My Account'.

Adding to this, the achievement points need to be unique. 2 level 80 achievements will only count once for example.

I have a question though, is the MoP realm also exempt from the points situation? I have a lvl 76 with 1110 Acheivement points, but even after about a day or two I still haven't been able to earn any points.
