Im guessing because you cant complete it without a key, which needs a quest. If you're RDFing, you're likely not going to have the key so you can't actually finish the dungeon.

It's the same thinking with Scarlet Monastery's Armory (which needs the scarlet key to open Herod's door)

It's actually different from scarlet monastery though because you can do the quest for the key while doing the BRD run; the key for SM Armory/Cath is in an entirely different instance.

You get the key by dying and talking to the npc in the center rock hanging in Blackrock Mountain, then killing 1 boss. Also I'm fairly sure rogues / blacksmiths can open the doorway. You should ask at the start of the instance if anyone has the means to open it, and if not send someone to go start the quest.
