[ANSWERED]IC/BR/Lorda Battleground gear/ilvl brackets

When crossrealm was released, there were also gear/ilvl brackets that made it so battleground were relatively balanced. I am not sure of the specific numbers or tiers, but I know there were at least two or three brackets to separate players. Fresh 80s to like 4k GS, 4k GS to about 5.5k GS, and then 5.5k to BIS toons. I would always queue into the highest bracket and very rarely get dropped into the lower 5.5k bracket if there were not enough players for the highest bracket. Recently however, I believe coinciding with Frostmourne's release, these brackets seem to have been broken/removed but there hasn't be any explanation or notification that anything was changed. The only bracket for all of the BGs seems to be only Frostmourne's arbitrary bracket. Because of this change that was never communicated to the community, a lot of people are confused about what crossrealm is, and has lead a lot of players to be against crossrealm and advocate for the removal of Lordareon from Icecrown/Blackrock crossrealm. This recent surge of anti-crossrealm, I bet, is partially influenced by zero communication on this subject, and they would be completely justified in this feeling because fresh 80s or lower geared 80s should not be queued with nor against players who are either bis or close to bis gear.

One of the most confusing things is the recent devlog update talking about Frostmourne's BG bracket.

Our new realm Frostmourne is part of our crossrealm system. There are a few changes we made to ensure things remain fair though.

Level 80 Players from Frostmourne are automatically placed in the 'lowgear' battleground bracket. Players from Icecrown and Lordaeron can also play in this bracket if they qualify. There are certain limitations on gear to keep an even playing field. Any player which has progressed past the current Frostmourne status, will NOT be placed in this bracket. This includes gear in bags, bank, and so on. These limitations will be changed as Frostmourne progresses through the expansion.

This seems like such an arbitrary limitation since once you get a single piece of gear that's above the current progression on Frostmourne, you're automatically bumped out of this Frostmourne 'bracket'. A player on Icecrown/Lorda/Blackrock has to purposely level a character with the sole purpose to queue into this Frostmourne bracket.

This is just one of the very many recent players I had in my battlegrounds. He is a fresh 80 with basic Furious Gear and is still using leveling greens from Outlands/vanilla, and yet he gets dropped into BGs with full wrathful players.

Here are a couple of threads that have popped up recently related crossrealm, specifically Lordareon, or the gear brackets (rarely mentioned/noticed). Nobody seems to understand that the brackets that were previously in place are now not there.

Could we please get some clarification on what happened with the brackets on the IC/BR/Lorda battleground that were in place since crossrealm introduction and recently removed? Are there any plans to reintroduce/fix these brackets so battleground are a bit more fair, balanced, and enjoyable for everyone? Thanks in advance.
