Hybrid Lock pre-uldar

(On frostmourne realm) So i've looked around and saw a few posts stating that hybrid lock>other specs in naxx bis. Can anyone else elaborate on this? I saw some screenshot of a hybrid lock pulling 8k in VoA and don't understand how

8k is a dps of a bis lock atm, up to 16 on some encounters. So it would suggest hybrid=other lock specs

Then that lock is trash. When content was relevant, I could do 8k dps in 240/250 gear.

He means bis as in naxx bis. which is like 213/226 gear.. If you are in 240/250 gear you should be doing 10k+ dps anyway.. lol
