1. Vanish vs Permafrost

can any mage here please explain why in the new Changelog it says that vanish was "incorrectly" removing frostbolt slows even with permafrost active?

what makes permafrost so special that it cancels out vanish removing frostbolt slows?

    Permafrost tooltip:
Increases the duration of your chill effects by 3 secs, reduces the target's speed by an additional 10% and reduces the target's healing received by 20%
    Vanish tooltip:
Allows the rogue to vanish from sight, entering an improved stealth mode for 10 sec. Also breaks movement impairing effects
I don't see how an increased slow + reduced healing effect should stop an ability specifically designed to remove slows when used...

  2. that fix means that:
Rogue affected by frostbolt debuff > rogue use vanish > frostbolt debuff remains because of 20% healing reduction effect

So, that frostbolt debuff have lost "snaring component" due to vanish but it still provides 20% healing reduction

  3. that fix means that:
Rogue affected by frostbolt debuff > rogue use vanish > frostbolt debuff remains because of 20% healing reduction effect

So, that frostbolt debuff have lost "snaring component" due to vanish but it still provides 20% healing reduction
im pretty sure that was already the case tho iirc... oh well. thanks mate.

yes, that fix was implemented a long time ago.

changelog posted on 3 June is showing fixes already listed on changelog of "January 2020"
