What's the best use of time when you are in prot, but not actively tanking?

How do you make sure not to pull and yet be ready to pull when needed?

Stack Sunder Armor, do Demoralizing shout. Just attack it as usual, you wont take aggro unlss your MT is really undergeared.

Taunt isntantly forces target to attack you and gives you same threat as player with highest treat. Just be ready to keep it.
