You don't really gain any benefit if youre using tank gear. You get some better aoe damage thats about it. If you have like a whole set of tank gear around 5k you'd want to just go full DPS talents because you should be able to sustain on normal abilities in RDF.

For raids frost is better at low gear, blood is better at higher gear where u get a lot more HP.
