For the past 5 years there have been places where certain spawns were accelerated, excellent places the original devs put into the rhealm like easter eggs to compensate for the ridiculously low spawn rate on blizzlike rhealms. There must have been a change in philosophy and/or management, because over the past year i've seen zone after zone get nerfed into oblivion. 4 wintersbite nodes in the whole world?! Really?! There used to be 28, now there are 4. Kind of makes having that recipe for "winters bite" enchant or frost power potions completely useless if you have to spend an hour to find 1 node. Along the eastern coast of Lordamere lake in alterac, there used to be 32 nodes of liferoot, now theres 6. The entire zone of Hinterlands has always been an herbalist's Bonanza- now it's as barren a wasteland for herbs as, well, every other zone it would seem. No wonder people are constantly getting banned for botting!! You make things near impossible to gather, or make it into this huge investment of time. The original architects of Lordaeron had it perfect, and whoever is in charge now screwed the pooch. The only item you can craft that disenchants into Illusion dust is Frostweave pants. To make those you have to have ghost mushrooms. There were 3 good spots for ghost mushrooms, now, they are all gone. It's just very disappointing.
