    Bm hunters

Can some experienced player or someone who have tested it tell me if bm is viable or if it comes even close to mm as pve end game spec?

  2. Hey there Angel,

I've been exclusively running as a BM hunter since starting here on Warmane in Oct of this year. I've been enjoying it and haven't really felt like I come short compared to Marksman hunters.

I will warn you that people will be skeptical of the build's DPS output. You really depend a lot on the pet and if it goes down and isn't a Ferocity type (they have a self-res you can use every 8 minutes in their talent tree), you will dip significantly. However if you keep an eye on your pet during fights and just make sure to keep it alive you can perform just fine.

Marksman is very good for single-target DPS output. Ultimately I don't believe BM cannot meet the exact same numbers as them if you're talking strictly raw DPS output. If you're not super concerned about being top of the chart though, BM is just as capable of holding their own.

    I hope that helps :)

  3. First - no use FULL BM spec. Use BM with Preparation (MM) or Hunter vs Wild (for survivability). Of course pet of full BM hunter stronger, but most of damage make NOT pet but hunter.

https://wotlkdb.com/?talent#cxbrzxxRwu0esh0eVoMmz - the build with Preparation

https://wotlkdb.com/?talent#cebMzxxRfuzesZZx0ci0cf - the build with Hunter vs Wild (this build can good deal with PvP gear, but better used with traps)

Best pet for PvE- wolf (no comments), sporebat (armor debuff and AoE(!!!) nature damage), dragonhawk (fire DOT like Spirit Strike), dino (+10% all pet damage but need microcontrol to use it after prock Cobra Strikes)
