I've got a problem with gearing up my combat rogue on the Lordareon realm.
I followed all the standard gearing steps (normal+reputantions -> heroic and fos-pos-hor farming) and now I'm at 5k gs having almost all the items from this post http://forum.warmane.com/showthread....=1#post2837287 + the t10 shoulders.
I just don't have the https://wotlk.cavernoftime.com/?item=47214 but I have https://wotlk.cavernoftime.com/?item=42990 currently equipped and https://wotlk.cavernoftime.com/?item=47734 in the bags (it has more gs but i would go to 600+ hit rating with that).
I'm currently sitting on 26/26 expertise, 476 hit rating and 38.65% crit rating which I think should be a good start for raiding. Here's the armory: http://armory.warmane.com/character/...daeron/summary
The problem is nobody is willing to invite me to a raid (neither VOA or TOC - Lordaeron realm) and without raiding I'm stuck with these gear.
I'm currently farming emblem of Frost through the daily heroic and weekly quest but it'll take ages to get everything I need to reach the crazy gs (5.2 to 5.4k) everybody requests.
Any advice on how to close the gap between heroics and raids?
TL:DR I got everything I could from heroics and EOT but 5k gs is still not enough to get an invite for raiding. Need to know where to find items to get to 5.2 to 5.4k gs without raiding...

Get 264 crafted pants and boots, 245 crafted bracers, get wodins, maybe ikfirus if you can drop the hit/expertise somewhere.
You could also get quel'delar from a battered hilt for a 251 weap.
Costly stuff, but that's what you're into without a guild backing you up.

Oh, I forgot about those crafted items. I actually can farm the mats myself (except for the primos, I'll see about those).
I already planned on buying Wodin's but I get bored farming gold and the Battered Hilt is a lottery [and everybody always "need" it].

If you got 60 eof banked up and the raid is something short like voa you can also just buy a trinket like herkuml, bump your gs by 100, and return it to the npc after the raid before the 2 hour return timer is up.
You won't lose any eof if you return the item within 2 hours, but your gs temporary is up by up to 100, which could make or break an invite.

Definitely farm LW legs, you will stay very long time with them. Next item buy EoF belt. You will not replace this one easily too.
Next step probably Wodin and you should be on ~5,3k gs, which is OK for TOC10n, appliable for TOC 25n.
If you get lucky, you can join some alt raid ICC 10n on Tuesday. I say Tuesday, because on Wednesday is id reset and you will more likely find some AL group aiming to finish on Gunship. Which is OK for you and you can have some nice weapon. Especially If switched to HC!
It is same for everyone. You must farm some gold to get further.

This being sad and pathetic in this server leads you to another solution. Host your own raid, VOA aint hard like at all, every1 know what to do and you can reserve your gear (make sure to write that on the LFM), also make some ICC alt run at least 6 or 7 bosses it's more challenging but it's worth it for both of em (VOA and ICC) try to get 4.8k - 5K ppl so you help them as well, i've done some really good friends with that mindset.
