Alliance or Horde for pvp?

I decided to give this server a try now because in my memory mop pvp was really fun. However the server seems to have a low population, so I rather ask beforehand on what faction I should play to find arena partners (bgs are crossfaction in my understanding so it shouldnt matter for that then). I guess that human is the dominant race for competitive pvp, but I care less about min-maxing than actually having someone to play with. ty in advance

Maybe alliance cause they have more pvp players.

Horde has more noob frienly pve and pvp guilds . Ally has elitist end game guilds. (My exp) you can chose. Ally does boost low toons in old raids, but horde does it weekly. Horde takes fresh timeless ppl in raid, ally you need to grind bg for more gear before. Both valid. And yes bg is mix, but 70/30 favor on your faction.
