1. Someone just sent me 2000 gold

I have no idea if I have ever talked or seen this person. Just sent 2000 gold and no explanation. Should I take it, or is this something I will get into trouble for?

  2. You should be careful, it might be CoD scam.

  3. It's not COD. It's legit just 2k gold.

  4. It's not COD. It's legit just 2k gold.
then take it. if they sent it to the wrong person than it sucks to be them

  5. OP, can I answer your question with an analogy? Imagine finding a wallet on the street. You pick it up and you find 100$ inside. You could go to the nearest police station and give the people there the wallet, so that the owner of it can get his money back, or you can keep it and take the money for yourself. What would you do in that scenario?

If you are sure, that the mail isn't an ordinary COD scam, then taking the gold wouldn't cause you a punishment. But you could be the better person and click "return", so that the person would get his gold back and send it to the intended receiver.

[edit] It could also be a COD failed attempt and, instead of tricking you, the sender actually sent you some gold.

  6. I'd take it and run. Unless the sender has a bot name, you should be fine.
