Tmog question

Hi there i had a question about tmogging and idk id it's been answered before so sorry if it has.
The question is if i use scroll of deception on an item which has different looks and names two factions and then i change faction and use the Essence on my items will it have the looks of the item from my previous faction or my current faction?
i wanted to ask this cause i bought a paladin recently and it's on alliance side i want to have the togc cloak tmog on it but don't have a decent cloak to use it on right now and in order to gear it up i have to transfer it to horde so i wanted to ask if i can use my scroll on that item or T9 items and then swap factions and have the previous faction item

Yes you can, the transmog will stay the same after faction change but the actual item will change, So do it before you faction change.
