WotLK Pet question

If i tamed say a wolf in a starter area then got it to 80, then tamed another one in a higher zone say 60 then trained that to 80, would they both have the same stats or would one be higher then the other?

Also is there a stat difference between taming a Rare and an Exotic pet?

There's no difference between any pet of the same species at level 80. As far as rare & exotic, no. Exotic pets have an extra ability however, since they are only available to Beast Master hunters.

Ah sweet, so its obvs smarter to tame an Exotic over a Rare then XD
