Strange Ring north of Teldrassil

If you travel to the northern side of Teldrassil, you will find a strange ring sitting in the ocean with arrows pointing towards it. Coordinates are 52.5, 5.7.

Anybody have any idea what this is for?
I cannot find any information on it and it is not present in retail or classic.

Additionally, I am on Lordearon if it is exclusive to this realm.
I assume it is related to a Warmane exclusive event but I am not sure.

thats part of a darkmoon fair cannon game where you fire yourself from a cannon and try to land in it but i dont know why it's out there.

Pretty certain its left overs from a jump/stair event.

This is from cow darts. Look way up from there and platforms are probably there still.

Update: I was able to confirm this is indeed cow darts. I won this same event a few months ago.

If someone goes south of Azyremyst Isle, they can find the platform for the stairs event.
