WotLK Low DPS?

Hi.

I have a question. As ive hit level 80 and started getting better gear, ive switched from assasination combat. Now, i have a problem and it is that i do 3.5-4k dps. What am i doing wrong? For the rotation im using ss, 2cp SnD, ss, 4cp evi. Max DPS i can pull is 5.2. On MH im using instant poison, OH deadly poison

I'm no rogue specialist, so don't take my words for granted, but since nobody else is responding here I go:

First of all, I've heard that combat rogue should gem Arp when he gets 50% arp from his gear only. Otherwise its better to gem Agi. From what I can see in your armory, you still lack some important arp items.

Secondly, combat is very gear dependant. Especially weapon. And your main hand is... well, quite bad.

Yup, ArP is only good if you can get like 80%+ (end game gear). Read the guides, either go Agi or Haste. And get a better MH weapon :)

with the gear you have and the spec you play. you should average at about 4-5k yes. rogues in general are very gear dependant in both pve and pvp. you need to aim for 80-100% ARP without buffs/procs

and like the others said. your MH weapon is kinda bad. especially for raiding ICC it would be. id suggest running TOC10-25 and if you can on heroic. do the first 6 bosses (marro-lady-gunship-rotface-fester-bpc) on 10 and 25 to farm emblems of frost and start getting ready to get sanctified gear. the 2-4 set bonus from it will help out your dps alot
