Semper Fi is a newly created casual guild based in EU, looking to recruit players with a similar mind-set.
Why are we doing this?
I've been playing for so long and what i really miss, is having a reason to log-in even if the raids are done. I'm looking to create a friendly environment where people can have fun in a relaxed manner. Because a lot of us have jobs, famillies, kids, dogs, pigs, whatever, you name it, we do not have so much time or patience for pushing ourselves to be best raiders. Here is where we come in. We do not care about level, gearscore, stuff like that. We'll help everyone.
What's our goal?
As previously said, we are a casual guild. What does this mean? It means having fun while progressing through the content. Since it's a new guild, our primarly target is to recruit enough people to start doing collective events, such as gearing up for raids, 10-man Raids, eventually forming a team for a 25-man Raid.
Loot system
We're using EPGP system.
A quick overview of what EPGP implies:
EPGP stands for Effort Points/Gear Points. Effort Points (EP) quantify the effort each member puts towards the guild (more on that later). Gear Points (GP) quantify what loot each member got back in return. Loot priority (PR) is computed as the quotient of the two:
PR = EP/GP
TLDR; The person with the higher PR gets the first say on loot.
How to get EP:
EP can be gained by numerous activities, mainly by raiding. A few possibilities are:
- Joining a guild raid, + X amount of EP for every boss and a bonus for staying untill the end of the raiding activities for that evening
- Standing by and being ready whenever needed when signed up for a guild raid, but not chosen into the group (aka benched)
- Depositing valuable items into the guild bank; Epic gems, BoE's, Crusader Orbs, etc.
This will all be discussed when choosing this system
What about the GP?
GP will be gained on the other hand by receiving items:
- Receiving loot in a raid
- Receiving items from the guild bank instead of buying them from the guild bank
This will also be discussed further
Restrictions on the system
Now there's also certain options we can set into this system including but not limited to:
- Decay: This would remove X% of EP every week so that recent efforts have more value than saved up EP. This will counter players with 20 alts hoarding in EP for their main character.
- EP restriction for loot: This would disallow players to be eligable for loot untill they have earned a certain amount of EP. This way new players will not be getting the loot you are working your asses off for.

In the last couple of days we've managed to grow to a point where the recruitment will get restricted a bit for our raid core.

We require ToC25 competitive gear to start a trial, around 4.7k if you wish to put a number on it.
Friendly socials are always welcome as well, no matter our current requirements.
Update 21/12/2020
Our second go in ToGC25 got us 3/5 oneshot and a 20% best pull on Valks.
We're still lacking a few classes/specs for a proper 25m HC group:
Resto druid - Very High
Holy Paladin - Very High
Hunters - High
Elemental Shaman - Medium
Shadow Priest - Medium
Feral Druid - Medium
Everything else is welcome too, if exceptional. However we require every trial to be (close to) ready geared for ToGC25, meaning ~5k+.
We always welcome nice and friendly lads for our socials ranks too.
Having high experience in ICC and/or having a viable tank/heal OS is a big plus!
Contact Colourful/Krippen/Duduxd for more information or respectfully ask someone in the guild for an officer, they'll be more than happy to help you out.
