1. Hit cap (pvp)

    Hey there!
    I am currently 6% spell hitcapped(max) for PVP and I STILL MISS like every 10 spellcasts ?
    I just want to know - whats the reason for that ?
    Is it a SERVER bugg or what ?

  2. hit cap for caster PvP is 4%.
    In some cases is not enough due to enemy's racial/talents that increase spell miss chance vs them

    Also, when you face an Hpala, it is pretty common to "miss" spells due to his OP talent: http://wotlk.cavernoftime.com/spell=53553
    Even if it says "restence" you still get "miss" as message when you fail to hit because of that talent.

  3. Spell resistance is a huge thing in WOTLK pvp so its probably that, you need something like 130 spell resistance or some **** like that to make sure you dont miss anything in pvp

    true, spell penetration is important for a caster (but we do not know his class, so we do not know how much spell pene he needs)

    But he said "I STILL MISS like every 10 spellcasts".
    Failing to hit due to "school magic resistance" is reported as "Resist", not "Miss"

    Combat Log Changes:
    - The combat log now differentiates between a spell failure due to resistance and spell failure due to missing the target. Where once both events reported as a resist; a spell missing the target is now reported as a miss.

  5. I think the hard cap is %10 against belf paladin (%2 from racial, %4 from some talent, and %4 base miss chance.). Also rogues have similar talent aswell.
