Technical Logged in once using public vpn and now I'm banned

Hello. I did log in while connected to a vpn, on which the ip address is banned, and now I am not able to use some functions (such as the "backup" in my account settings?). Although I am able to play as normal from my home network while not connected to it. I of course now realized this was a mistake and will not play while having the vpn active again.

Is it possible to get back the features I am supposed to have? Would be much appreciated since i do enjoy the game a lot and do not have any intentions of advertising or whatever the vpn IP was banned for.
