1. When to hold slam PvE

    Hello,
Near BiS fwar here. Based on guides and landsoul's spreadsheet, it's been recommended that if I get a slam proc when my bloodthirst has about 1.2 seconds left on cooldown that I hold my slam under this situation, likely due to NA latency. Can someone explain why it's a DPS loss to use slam and delay bloodthrist/ww by like 0.3-0.5 seconds as opposed to holding or letting the slam proc expire?

  2. Dont know how high is your latency but wouldnt delay slam when having that much time before next bt. If its 0.3 secs delay, I dont think it would be a dps loss at all.

PS: Slam takes 1sec gcd unlike other abilities so its 0.1sec delay, if you are having 0.3sec delay on abilities.

  3. Thanks. I know it's hard to get into the specifics without sharing my character's stats and my average latency, but is there generally a good BT cooldown threshold after which it's a loss to hold slam?

As an obvious example I know it's a DPS loss if I slam instead of BT if there's a 0.1 sec CD on BT. But what if there's a 0.5 s CD on BT? what about a 0.8 s CD?

  4. It's DPS loss eve with 1.0 second till CD (except double proc).
BT hardest hitting ability and it hits way harder than Slam. Never prioritise Slam over BT. Keep in mind simple thing - you can use only two skills while BT is on cd.
