Are modifications of DBC files bannable?
I know the knee-jerk reaction is "any modification to the game files is bannable" but we know the answer is a little more complicated than that—for example, the guides subforum has lots of guides on how to modify models, etc.
Has any of you modified a DBC file and lived to tell the tale?

Technically there are DBC entries that I don't see as being malicious if changed but I don't know what we're checking for exactly and I can't guarantee we won't change it later.

Maybe it'd be nice to have a list of whitelisted entries you state to be allowed to modify.

I've been playing for a few hours with the modifications I liked. I will report back if the account gets banned later on.
