How to get pve gear when pvp geared?

Hello, nice to meet you. Im straub, anyways so im a 4.2k gs pvp geared paladin and i see in the guide im following for example there are some pve pieces that i need to get, while i have heard people dont let ANYONE in raids who has pvp gear on. Is there a specific thing i should do? like for example farm pve gear ? help would be very appreciated. Thanks so much in advance and have a good day!

I would start doing RDF, weekly raid quest, POS FOS, until I get at least 4 pieces of T9, or mixture of T9 with BoE gears, this should be able to allow you to hit 5k+ gs. And you may consider to join some TOC raids, but it can be difficult as I've seen the requirement set by most players are ridiculous. But with around 5k gs, you should be able to start doing ICC (maybe not full run).
