Retri PvP Questions

Hi,

im playing ret in pvp for a while now (even though i just play it as an alt), and read Lyneas guide as well as this guide http://forum.warmane.com/showthread.php?t=378938 here at forums.

I miss a discussion or thoerycrafting about the question which Libram and which 1h+shield are to prefer to go for. At the second mentioned guide its told that wrathful sp 1h + wrathful barrier are the items to aim for. But ingame the paladin players i asked prefered the LK284 1h Wepons because of more SP.

Is there a general answer to both of my questions, or is it high situational ... and why?

Atm i can choose between ilvl226 DS+236Dmg and The +44 Strg stacking tome for frost emblems.
For 1h+shield im going for LK 1h mace (hc) and wrathful barrier.

Is there a way to improve?

Maybe someone can propose a ranking of available tomes? A discussion of the available top end (ilvl264++) 1h and shield combinations would be nice too.

You man! If you playing regular/normal/2H Ret Paladin ...

-- the point of switching into 1h+shield is basically like Warrior switching into Def stance = you want as much damage reduction as humanly possible = you want Wratful 1h+shield cause they give you 200+ extra resilence

-- Libram is really up to you - I do love Wratful heal one cause it makes your heals so much better!

I like defensive playstyle when you can tank 1v3 lower geared meele for days xD or until you kill em all :D

You can still be best kill blows cause Hammer of Wrath OP at stealing them :D is actually super ez to play this way :D
