Race difference.

So recently i changed to draenei from human as a ret paladin. and what i noticed that i have 24 less strength, i thought draeneis supposed to have 1str more base stats. Anyone can explain or am i just dumb.

You sure you didn't have any item, gem, enchant or any other such changes?
Also, being Draenei, you're guaranteed the hit racial, so you can drop 1% hit from your setup. That can net you some strength gain in gems and whatnot.
