Friend IP banned - Help pls

Hi, a guild friend has had his IP address banned for allegedly advertising but he isn't aware of anything. He logged off last night at 11pm after boosting me in BFD and today he isn't able to log in as he's banned. Please, can someone advise or help?

does he use a VPN? in that case this is the reason and he needs to send an email to [email protected] for support
