WotLK What to spend Points on?

So i have some points from voting and can actually afford something. Not sure what to get as im still a fresh 80 so slowly building up gear via FoS,PoS,HoR and EOTs. Any suggestions on what to get first? I have attached a link to my character

Was just about to get the trinket but came across Voldrethar, Dark Blade Of Oblivion. Still stick with Comets Trail?

That's up to you, but i would take trinket, since it's pretty hard to get such a good trinket, but you can get somewhat decent weapons (pos n, pos hc, even ICC first boss)

There are other trinkets that are easier to get without spending points that are better for you. The best starting point is Darkmoon Card: Greatness and your Emblem of Triumph trinket, which serves as a stand-in for the Tiny Abomination trinket due to the bulk hit on it. Which thus allows you to setup your gear set with Tiny Abom in mind. You would be much better served by getting Voldrethar.

EoT Trinket I consider to be garbage, ToC 5 N won't be good, EoH trinket maybe, but requires conversion of EoT's. ToC 10 trinket comes with exp and AP on hit (I think). ToC 25 Trinket, good luck.. ICC 10 LDW trinket is the same, everybody wants it, or reserves it. DC: Greatness? Prepare to drop hefty amount of gold..

None of the weapons prior to ToC25 come close to Voldrethar's value. There is either a large ilvl discrepancy, or the stats are terrible (haste/armor pen is the worst possible secondary combination). And good luck getting a weapon off Onyxia.

You can consider the EoT trinket garbage if you wish, but it is still a an excellent trinket for more than one reason (Should I elaborate?) and why would you suggest another proc-based hit trinket? I suppose I should elaborate: It lines up perfectly with Avenging Wrath's CD and is 100% reliable due to its on-use nature. The duration is also twice the length of Blood of the Old God's, and thus matches the duration of Avenging Wrath as well. It's a perfect pairing. Along with its simming value, it was (and I still consider it to be) 2nd BIS only to Death's Verdict (for that raid tier).

Greatness is BIS in the other slot prior to Death's Verdict and really isn't costly. 7.5k gold on the Horde AH, 5k gold on the Alliance AH, both on Icecrown. (Though I suppose one could make an argument for Dark Matter, but that's a tough one.)
That said, both are exceptionally easy to get.

If you got gold for Darkmoon trinket, it's amazing and better than Comets trail. Weapon for points + Darkmoon card +EoT trinket will be the best combo. But to get it now is pretty expensive.

Idea is that trinket will serve you better than weapon, there is waay higher competition for trinkets, so expect to play with whatever trinkets you get for a long time. It wont be a surprise if you even start to farm icc/rs full clears and still use Darkmoon card or Comets trail. But weapon - there is a high chance you will get an upgrade fast, even on first raid. Way lower competition in comparison.
