Just came back to WOTLK after 2-3 years. Have always been a ret pally. Need some help gearing up (currently 4.3k gs). I've just been running FoS/PoS/HoR norm for now. Not sure what else I should be doing for gear/weapons? Current 2h is a GarFrost's Two-ton hammer. Is there a questline I can do for a better one? Would like to start getting into ICC, what are gs reqs for this?
Also if anyone has a good/active guild I can join, that'd be great. Thanks

Do hc fos/pos/hor too. Farm EoTs for T9. (rhc/fos/pos). There iq a questline for a weapon (251) - started by tradeable item (battered hilt) that drops in fos/pos/hor. You should also do VoA raid for chance of getting t10 legs/gloves.
Gs req for 10m icc used to be around 5k gs, when I played a while ago..

Is there a way to find out item level or what tier it is?

Options > Interface > Display > Show Item Level for item level. You need a gearscore addon in order to see the gearscore.
