Realms No cross-bg with Blackrock

So after 8 years I finally came back to WOTLK. Warmane the best server in the world blizzlike scripted. Leveled my char played some WGs and after getting some gear... "surprise" I'm getting only cross bgs with the PVP server Blackrock. Now how is this fair to have one with 4 to 5 k gs (pve/pvp combined) matched with full relentless players? They are 1,8k players on that server, let them do bg's between themselves, or give me the option to remove cross bg...I rather wait a longer queue if needed than this.
