WotLK Gaining exp in a party

So does questing in a party affect the amount of experience you get? As far as I remember if you are in a party of two the exp you gain is being cut in half for each player and so on. But I don't remember does it work like that in wotlk? And also I want to know does it apply to the exp you gain from turning in a quest? And does it apply when you're questing with a max-level player? I mean max-levels don't need any exp points.

So I basically want to know if my max-level friend helps me with questing, will I get reduced exp from mobs AND turning in quests while being in a party with him?

The XP gained from monsters gets cut in half (afaik it applies both when you're with people your own level and with a max level boosting you)
but the experience from turning in quests stays the same.
