WotLK All Lordaeron characters deleted randomly

Logged in one day to all Lord chars gone.

IC and blackrock chars still there.

wtf just happened? I have no idea.

Need assistance.

Did you log in game to check if they are there or did you check only on website? When was the last time you saw them?

saw them a few days ago, logged in today, char list was empty.

logged on website and checked char restore function, they were under the recently deleted list.

Do you use 2FA?
Also check here https://www.warmane.com/account/history for log ins from IP address other than yours

no to 2FA, that might change now tho.

And yes i do see a suspicious IP, 5 months ago.

Is there a log in from a different IP that's been done recently?
You can retrieve a character deleted within 30 days for free (one per week I think or something of the sort) through the restoration service.

When you say 'saw them a few days ago', was that before or after the gold squish? What level were the characters? Did you actively play them? Could they have been removed during the gold squish / inactivity cleanup?
