Site Webiste shop, buying an endgame pvp item

Hello!

I've been trying to use the forum search to find answers to my question, but i've yet to find any.

My question is as follows: Say you buy the Wrathful Gladiator's Dirk from the shop with coins, which requires quite a high arena rating, but you buy it for a new character. Will the character be able to equip it even tho it doesnt have the needed arena rating?

Yes. The arena rating is only required to purchase the equipment off the vendor, after that you only need to be lvl80.
