WotLK Mail lost after transfer from Frostmourne to Icecrown

Both my characters had a lot of items in the mail worth thousands of gold that I use to send from one another as temporary stash while I quest/dungeon. Once I transferred them due to the new season, mail is not showing.

Mails were never mentioned as or meant to be part of any transfer.

So is everything lost? Wow so many hours wasted. Why would I have to assume mail is not included? It's part of the character. You guys should've explicitly pointed out.

What makes it even worse it that I'm a new player in the server, just got my character to level 80 and now I have no money nor goods to sell.
