Frostmourne question

Does the new Frostmourne season have gear progression as well as content prog. or is it get lvl 80 spam rdf for eot/t9 gear?.

yes, it is progressive as the "previous" frostmourne.
The main difference is there not x2 Raid reset per week anymore. Warmane will introduce a "timewalking" feature so you can farm "old" raids from past expansions.
