Tmog on Tabard of the Lightbringer

Hey,

I'm thinking about buying a tabard of the Lightbringer but I would like to transmog it.
I heard you could lose the animation if you're not the one who unlocked the quest.

Does anyone has confirmed data on whether or not I can tmog it and still keep the animation?

Just transmogged mine (I bought it from the AH) to the Stormwind Tabard the other day and I still light up perfectly!
